Masło is a tribute to growing up in the kitchen with my Polish grandmother, Bella. It captures the warmth of freshly baked bread cooling on the counter, flour dusting our hands, and melted butter soaking into something just pulled from the oven.
Rosemary and black pepper open with a touch of sea salt, giving way to warm baked bread, soft dough, toasted oats, and melted butter. Beneath it all, malt, hay, tonka, cedarwood, and ambrette musk create a soft, lingering warmth, nostalgic without being overly sweet.
